With an influx of emails probably caused by so many great flight/ accommodation deals available...DUTK.com has asked the team behind the Internationals to provide some key tips for travelling to Gosford in July.

Getting to Gosford is easy. Folk should plan to arrive around 2pm Friday afternoon in order to receive info pack at registration and have plenty of time to glam it up for Douglas McFarland's Down Under the Kilt; Reel Men Do Dance (tickets on Sale June 1st) playing the Central Coast Leagues Club at 8pm.

If you're looking to fly into Sydney airport, an early arrival is essential to avoid Friday peak hour. Alternatively you can take the easy train ride (avoiding traffic) to Central Station and swap to the Central Coast line for just over an hours trip up Sydney's North Shore and the beautifully scenic Hawkesbury. A quick train swap or taxi ride will get you to one of many hotels within close proximity to the venue.

During the weekend, taxi's or the very friendly committee members will get you to the venue, where no matter what time of day you will enjoy a great display of Highland Dancing. Keep in mind the Official Opening on Saturday afternoon - 12:30pm always a spectacle.

The travel back to Sydney is much easier on Monday (27th) than Sunday. Due to the large number of tourist visitors to the Central Coast each and every weekend, Sunday evening makes for a long trip on the F3. Hence CCHDI have arranged the perfect reason to stay for the International Workshop with Peter Archibald, Diane Krugh and Elizabeth Low.

Travel on Monday evening is an easy trip back down the train line, or cars are available for hire at very reasonable rates.

We are very much looking forward to the event that will be the 2009 Internationals and have done everything we can to ensure an enjoyable long weekend for all. Please don't hesitate to contact CCHDI to help with your travel arrangements.

Don't be the one standing in a conversation who wasn't there...join us - there is no true reason not to!
