It comes but once a year, and it is just around the corner - the International Highland Dancing Championships of Australia is coming to DUTK.com's hometown of Gosford and we can't wait. As a sponsor of the event for the 2nd time running, it's all about "The Internationals"!

Hundreds of Highland Dancers will be in town to compete for the ultimate prize of International Highland Dancing Champion, with supporting events for dancers all ages and levels and an overall prize for the teacher with the highest amount of points across the 2 days of competition.

CCHDI, the organising committee, won't reveal exactly who is coming to the Coast but we can confirm guests from all over the world will be here for this prestigious event.

You don't have to be a dancer to get involved. If you love all things Scottish, or enjoy the atmosphere of a big event, then get yourself down to the Central Coast Youth Club on July 19-20, 2008 to witness this spectacle of dance, music and culture.

The 2 days of competition are supported by 2 additional days of instructional workshops and social events. The program has been designed to appeal to all walks of life.
