PICTURE: Hannah Polo (Chittaway) will represent Central Coast and Australia in the World Highland Dancing Championships this August

Kyle Marston, Hannah Polo and Lauren Baldacchinno will represent the Central Coast when they compete in the World Highland Dancing Championships later this year.

The trio will leave Australia early August accompanied by their teachers Veronica and Douglas McFarland where they will spend three weeks competing in Highland Games and Championships culminatng in the World Highland Dancing Championships held on the last weekend in August.

For Kyle it will be his third time competing in the Worlds, for Lauren it is her 2nd trip and for Hannah, at just 12 years of age, it will be her first trip overseas.

The dancers have been working hard to earn the funds necessary for a trip of this size and welcome any additional support available. Highland Dancers self fund all their competitive tours and appreciate the help and support of local communities which assist in making their representation of the Central Coast and Australia possible.

DUTK.com will post the trios results as they come to hand.
